Privacy Policy

SKRIII is made by Uneven Bits ApS (“we”). This policy explains what the app does with data. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and your microphone and camera recordings never leave your device.

What we collect

When you sign in and join the leaderboard, we store:

• A Sign in with Apple identifier. We request no name or email — only the anonymous user identifier Apple provides, which we use to recognise your account across sessions.
• Your nickname, which you choose, shown next to your scores.
• Your screech results — the score, the matched gull species, and your level — so we can rank you on the daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards. If you enter the arena or create a challenge link, the short video you chose to share is stored so it can be shown to voters or whoever opens your link.

We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising.

What stays on your device

• Microphone audio. Your screech is analysed on your device to score it and match a species. The recording is never uploaded to us or stored on our servers.
• Camera / video. Video screeches are created and kept on your device. A video only leaves your device if you choose to share it — into the arena, as a challenge link, or through Apple’s system share sheet.

How we use your data

Solely to run the app’s features — your account, your collection, and the leaderboards. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or services.

User content & moderation

Arena entries and challenge videos are user-generated content. You can report or block content in the app, and we review reported entries and remove anything that breaks the rules. You can delete your own arena entries and revoke your challenge links at any time.

Purchases

SKRIII Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Data retention and deletion

Your account data (identifier, nickname, scores, and any content you shared) is kept while your account exists. To delete it, contact us at the address below and we will remove your account and associated leaderboard and arena entries.

Children

SKRIII is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any data beyond what is described above.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top reflects the latest version.
